Gary Vasisi, nepříliš úspěšný realitní agent na Novém Zélandu, je povolán zpět na rodný ostrov v Pacifiku. Po svém otci přebírá vládu nad ostrovem, který se nenávratně potápí. Doufá, že ve zdejším tropickém ráji připraví své snoubence Chloe velkolepou svatbu, po jaké ona bezmezně touží. A že sám konečně dosáhne úspěchu, a to i na úkor svého ostrovního lidu. Jde o první celovečerní snímek úspěšné tvůrčí skupiny a produkční společnosti Downlowconcept (Jarrod Holt, Ryan Hutchings, Nigel McCulloch), známé svým svérázným až kontroverzním stylem humoru, jejichž díla patří k tomu nejlepšímu z komediální novozélandské TV produkce (Hounds, 7 Days).

Garry Vasisi is a struggling real estate agent living in New Zealand, who is called back to his native island in the Pacific. Where he succeeds his father and becomes Chief of an island that is irreversibly sinking. He hopes that in this tropical paradise he can have the magnificent wedding that his fiance Chloe longs for. He is also determined to achieve personal success even if it is at the expense of his own island people. This is the first feature length film by successful creative group and production company Downlow Concept (Jarrod Holt, Ryan Hutchings, Nigel McCulloch), who are known for their distinctive and at times controversial humour.  Their TV works (Hounds, 7 days) are considered some of the best in New Zealand television.
